Dancing on Ice
I continued discovering Turin and its endless vegan and/or ethnic restaurants together with my friend Anna. The choice was always infinite and of incredible quality. I was particularly surprised by Van Ver Burger, a food truck in a different location every day where the guys prepare super tasty vegan sandwiches, different every month!
Finally the Alps

Before my return to Sicily, Anna and I managed to organize ourselves to finally go to the Alps! Train heading to Salice d'Ulzio!
The efficiency of trains and buses took us to 2000 meters altitude. There we enjoyed a trek in the snow, not too difficult, with the spectacle of the mountains and accompanied by our favorite songs.

Arriving at Lake Laune, we observed the crystalline forms of ice in the small harbor and walked onto the frozen lake. There, lying down, we were able to observe an incredible eagle, never seen one so large.

Caught up in the euphoria of the moment thanks to our songs, we stupidly started dancing on the lake! We knew the risk and fortunately the day was super sunny to try. One jump too many and my foot plunged into the icy water! Having a change of socks and very strong sun, I managed to survive, but I would certainly never do this foolish thing again, although now I have a beautiful memory of it!
Anna and the Crazy Moments
These kind of crazy moments always happen with Anna, impossible to forget. Despite the distance now due to study and work, it's incredible how every time we see each other these unforgettable moments are created. Just a few hours together and you're certain that something wonderful (or terrible from some points of view...) is about to happen!

With this last Turin experience, I was preparing for my return, which would not be simple at all.

This song doesn't have a particular reason. It was simply the song we were listening to while dancing on the frozen lake. And now, every time I hear it, it takes me back there: to 2000 meters, to the giant eagle, to the exact moment my foot plunged into the icy water.
Sometimes songs become soundtracks not because they have a deep meaning, but because they were there, at the right moment, when you were living something unforgettable.
